My Bio
I am a large format printer salesman by trade, but dabble in 3D Art, sketching, and photography in my spare time.
Is it just me, or is the description missing from everyone else's deviations as well? You know, the part that says "Introduce your deviation..." when you're submitting it...

On August 26, 2021, I came in to work at 6:00am as usual to find a TeamViewer notification on my laptop computer from a certain "Edward" (probably not a real name) requesting access to my desktop. I simply clicked "deny" and went about my day. You see, we open at 8:00am and I routinely arrive two hours early because those two hours are my "creative time" to compose 3D scenes and make my art. It became apparent, however, that something was horribly wrong when more people started showing up to work and were unable to log in to their computers due to "Edward" disabling their workstations. In fact, out of the twenty computers at my company's branch in San Antonio, Texas, my laptop was the only computer that was still functioning. As the day progressed, it became known that, across all eight branches of the company spanning the southern United States, only four computers were still functioning. We were informed by our IT department that we had been hacked and were being held for ransom. I

Fantastic art!

How long you been at this "Hobby" Rob, i am still amazed at the well balanced body of work you have in your gallery. Love all the little details. I know you probably think meh...we are our own worst critics..i think my gallery is barbaric in comparison to most here. I just love being inspired by your work...starwars or otherwise.

So, I started the hobby in 2001, when The Sims came out. I was obsessed with those stupid Sim people’s needs to eat, go to the bathroom and go to work. Then I saw that people were creating skins for The Sims. Found some freebie skins on Renderosity. Which led to looking at Rendo galleries. Which had me asking the question “who the hell is Vickie?”. Which brought me to DAZ3D and Poser (Victoria 2 was the current version). Got divorced in 2004 and stopped for a few years. Got back into it when I got wind of a free software called DAZ Studio. 2016 maybe? The rest is history… just wish I had more time for it these days. Recently quit a job I’d been at for 30 years to go to a worldwide F500 company; working my tail off to try to advance up the ladder; but that advancement opportunity is why I made the switch, so I’m not complaining.
